Hi Pankaj!
You present us a captivating, wild and dramatic landscape picture. The falls are impressive, and the colour of the rocks are amazing. I also like the cloudy sky and the diagonal line formed by the river is well seen.
Kind regards

Hello Pankaj,
What a dramatic capture of this water rushing across the beautiful smooth rocks. I like the way it raises your curiosity and makes you wonder where the water is coming from. Excellent POV, sharp details and fine colours.
Good note too - it sounds like a fantastic place!
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

Yes! the rocks were the first thing that hit me, and then the water full and rushing...with colours of earth picked up along its flow. The greenery looks almost like some other "stuff" we see here in secluded locations...One wonders..

Hi Pankaj
I can see by the colour of the water rushing by you have had lots of rain. You've captured a dramatic view of the different coloured jagged rock, dark sky and turbulent water. I'm sure the walk up to this point was worth it :)

hello Pankaj,
Amazing sight on a rough and wild landscape. Excellent vertical framing and choice of point of view. Yes, at first you have to find it.. colours are magnificent, I like the harmonious distribution of them; the green in front and the green stripe in the back for example. Just perfectely seen. Very interesting rock formations too. Bravo
Have a nice day

Hi Pankaj,
I am gald I found this wonderful photo. The power of the water is just awesome and those rocks look pretty scary. I like your composition where you used the wide angle of the lens perfectly. The FG details are stunning and you still have good details in the back.
TFS,
Niek
P.S. I am glad you noticed that landscape photography isn't as easy as it looks.

I am delighted on two counts at your return from a short sabbatical, Pankaj.
First, you have made a grand entry into the specialized field of landscape photography.
Second, you have used your wide angle lens with tremendous dexterity.
This landscape image in vertical orientation defies the definition of "landscape" orientation and presents a vertical "panorama" of a very interesting land formation in the vicinity of Khajuraho.
The water gushing through the rocky defile is a seasonal entity and muddly by virtue of it, but the impact it leaves on the beholder is very strong.
The depth of view right from the smooth brown rocks in the foreground to the cloudly monsoon sky on the horizon is just fantastic.
The entire shot is well composed and heralds your entry into this area of nature photography with fanfare.
Congratulations and carry on showing us your new landscapes!
Regards.

Hi Pankaj,
Glad to see you posting again.....Welcome back. And wow, what a way to come back...:)
A very lovely landscape shot here Pankaj. The effect of the rains is very clearly seen with the brown muddy water gushing ...the water's path is tumultous and i think i also see a surf breaking against the rocks and water spray far away to the left of the composition. The rock formations are amazing and i can imagine how it would have been for you to be present there. The far away line of green trees in the horizon make a nice contrast against the rocks in the FG.Excellent PoV and DoF.
I appreciate the way you have explained in your note about taking landscape shots.I think composing each frame in a landscape shot needs more of a creative suide. It is just the way a painter works on his canvass. Each element has to be seen and thought about and finally the coming together of all of it in balace and harmony.
TFS & Cheers

Hi Pankaj,
Outstanding shot of this great looking waterfalls and your great skill comes through here. The FG rocks sets up the image and the gushing waters looks so powerful and scary. Undoubtedly the monsoon rains have made the water look muddy. Looking at this image I can well imagine the sight of Chitrakoot at this time. Excellent DOF and a fine POV to portray this place. Very nicely composed too. Kudos.
TFS.
