| This beautiful juvenile non-venomous snake was seen on campus in Mulshi, Pune. Its the second most common snake seen on our campus, the first being Common Wolf snake. The numbers of these snakes have increased owing to monsoons in the area. Its a very active snake as well as a very aggressive snake. |

Hi Sindhu
Excellent POV and details. I like the way the snake shines! Just one observation - I cannot make out the keeling on the scales in this picture. Are juveniles typically without the strong keeling characteristic of adults?
