Hello Neighbour!
You come and shoot in a park in Noida without letting me know about it, Ganesan?
(Sorry, I'm joking)
Brilliant capture of our favourite butterfly Plain Tiger.
Despite harsh lighting conditions, you have pulled off a winner. Great focus, colours and details.
I like the vertical orientation because the plant it perches on is pretty.

hola Ganesh, muy bonita composición, nitida con tonos de color suaves y muy agradables, un fondo bien desenfocado pero nos deja formas agradables, La toma la veo con una luz excelente. Un saludo

Hi Ganesh Ji,
A nice capture of this beautiful Plain tiger along with the beautiful flowers. Excellent composition and sharp details. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hello Ganesh!

Beautifull butterfly with perfect sharpness and details! I like composition with visible good part of meadow. Yellow flowers + fresh green grass look nice.

dear ganesan,
you are shooting at parks of noida without informing dear sir about it, thats very wrong (just joking) but i must say that when you go there you must check with sir and take him for a photo shoot, you will get a lot of lessons from him. its a previlage haveing him there and you should take advantage of that.

regarding the photo posted i did not like the composition, i feel that you should have avoided the foliage and oe patches at the bottom. the focus is sharp and the colors look very natural, nice point of view,

i have observed that in recent posts you are choosing f 7/f 8 for most of your macro shots with varying shutter speeds from 1/30 to 1/520. what is the reason behind opting this particular f value? I hope you wont mind my asking this.

regards
pankaj

hi Ganesh,
good to see you using lot of space but this is too much. you could have gone little closer than this (but with my expereince i can tell may be the plain tiger din't give you time to closein). the greens looks over saturated and the bright spots are taking away the positive side of the image. as the bfly almost parallel to your focal plane, you could have used f5.6 to control the BG. i did a workshop, hope you don't mind.

ganesh,
very nice shot of the plain tiger in that you've gotten really parallel and got it real sharp.
I like what nagraj has done as it puts all the emphasis on the butt.

Hello Ganesh,
It's butterfly time these days. There are so many beauties to admire on TN.
This one also belongs to it. The clear colours, sharpness, details and DOF are excellent. Great choice of composition with a very beautiful OOF BG.

Peter

Hi Ganesh,

I'm glad you decided to post this beautiful Plain Tiger. The butterfly is razor sharp and jumps out of the lovely setting. I love seeing both sides of the wings like this. Colors are magnificent. You show off the wing patterns in a wonderful way.

Hi Narayanan,
Splendid shot of this plain tiger perched on one of its favourite flowers. Very neat and sharp image with lovely colours and details. the lighting is superb and I like the way you show the natural habitat. Excellent POV and the composition is different (with lots of close-ups of this particular butterfly I like the way you show it in a different mode). Kudos.
TFS.
