[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One of the many creeks of Sunderban. On either side of the creek there is dense forest. Man-eating Royal Bengal tigers, estuarine crocodiles, vipers, cobras and sharks, all these make Sunderban a deadly yet beautiful place.

This is perhaps the only region in the world where tigers are man-eaters from birth. Too much salinity in the water, close proximity of humans, are just two of the many theories for explaning this behaviour. Two fishermen got killed here by tigers just a few days ago. Yet the local people here worship the tiger as 'Dakshin Rai'. It is a magical place.

Hi Victor,
this sounds and looks like an exciting place to explore, in terms of the ominous weather and risk of Tiger, Crocodile, Snake or even Shark attack!
Like you POV here down this silty looking channel, with a very moody sky overhead, a big DOF indeed.

Hi Victor,

This photo is loaded with atmosphere! I love the creek with the reflections of the banks and the sky and my eye wants to know what is around the curve. A very dramatic sky with those threatening clouds along with the fluffy white ones. Interesting notes to go along with the shot.
