Hi all,
This is another shot from my visit to Bannerghatta. I was chasing this very active "Striped tiger" for a long time and got few shots and liked this one, even though some may say that the flower in the front is a distraction :-).
This is Striped Tiger(Danaus genutia), which is also known as Common Tiger. This is called Striped Tiger in India to differentiate it from the equally common Plain Tiger (Danaus chrysippus)

Cheers,

This POV is amzing, its look 3d and part of butterfly covered and slunt is good concept to explore at least on my experiance. The front blured flower is good composition and visual guide to focus area. This is just i feel.Great shot.TFS

Hi Goutham. This is a good view of the underside of the butterfly. With rich colours and fine detail . It stands out so well from the BG. well done TFS.
Nick..

Great tiger Goutham....You have this one full from back to front or vis versa all in clear focus...and you lost absolutely nothing in your colours along the way...Beauty of a shot..
Bob

Hi Goutham,

I see now a days you are looking at new pov, good to experiment. I see this one little battered at the bottom,or is it the way it is? tfs.

hi goutham,
excellent work. the tiger seems to be attacked by a bird, as it HW are damaged and also lost one antanne. if if were to be good specimen, the image would have much better. thats nature. the flower in foreground is not much of distraction as the even BG and colors supress it. tfs.
