I had a hard time capturing this one with my 18-55mm lens, given that he was flitting about quite lot.
The Common Pierrot (Castalius rosimon rosimon)is a common butterfly in the open areas and thinly wooded country upto 1300m in South India and upto 2500m in The Himalayas. It has a weak flight. It always flies close to the ground frequently settling on leaves. It is fond of sunshine and basks more after the rains. It vists flowers, damp patches, dead insects and bird droppings

Anoop, maybe focus could be a wee bit sharper, but that's just an opinion.

I like composition and colors a lot. The butterfly is beautiful, as well as the flower. The blurred bg highlights the main subject.
