Hello Pankaj,
although the butterfly has some lesions and is not quite perfect, the picture is perfect!
It shows nice details in excellent sharpness and colours.

hi pankaj,
good capture with great colors and details. but this is too close for comfort, better leave some more space for a better image. backgound again too dark here. when using tripod you could have gone for ambient light (exposure) also. tfs.

Very charming capture of the Common Grass Yellow, Pankaj.
The flower too is in sharp focus and becomes one with the butterfly in this composition.
There are plenty of these butterflies flying around here in Noida and I have taken a crack or two on them which I have yet to edit.

I have not seen more attractive yellow pair. Brilliant, sweet subject and tremendous picture of this amazing scene. Flash light is great as well as sharpness and terrific details of the insect and every part of the flower. POV and magnification are magnificent. Bravo.

Kate Wolf, an American folksinger who died of Leukemia in 1986 I believe, had a song called "Green Eyes"..I think she wrote it for me. I have always denied having green eyes, but I do and so does it appear as though does this! Will all of the yellow around, why not said the Creator?! After all our eyes are made to see colour, unless that sense is taken away by some tragic circumstance. A fine image and makes me happy I can see in full colours!

For sharpness and detail this is a first class image of E. hecabe beautifully composed on the yellow flower with good use of flash. If the butterfly were not damaged it would be a perfect illustration of this species.

A nice capture of this always busy grass yellow. Very well composed with sharp details. But I think a little more less brightness would have make it much nicer. Anyway still then it looks good to eyes. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hello Pankaj,

I like your idea to take a photo with the yellow butterfly on a yellow flower. You have made good use of the light showing nicely the edge of the yellow wings on the yellow flower. You also rendered nicely the surfaces of wings and flower usin this to separate them. Very nice composition!
