hi goutham,
lovely image, good composition and use of light coming from behind. the background simple ideal for these cute pierrots. my only point, not of photography, is the fiery colors of lantana are competeting with the pierrrots. someother colors would have given good contrast to them. i know, we cann't choose certain things to our taste in nature. tfs.

A beautiful pair Goutham, performintg a most natural ritual. Your viewpoint and exposure were perfect, the illumination favourable and a steady tripod achieved a sharp image against a nicely OOF dark BG. TFS this my friend.

Hello Goutham,

You have made a very fine photo rendering so well these beautifull colors. Due to the good sharpness of the image the pattern of butterfly's wings can be so well seen. There is a well chosen contrast between the butterflyes and the background.

Wow, there is riot of colours in this wonderful capture of mating Red Pierrots, Goutham!
In my reckoning, the light in which you took this picture tends to be dicey. However, you have used it to great advantage; the butterflies and the flower simply glow in it.
I shot this small butterfly here in the vicinity of Delhi too.
