[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Common Emigrant or Lemon Emigrant (Catopsilia pomona) is a medium sized pierid butterfly found in Asia and parts of Australia. The species gets its name from its habit of migration. Some early authors considered them as two distinct species Catopsilia crocale and Catopsilia pomona.

This was taken at Hebbal lake garden with my telephoto lens. Most of my macro/butterfly shots are from the same lens. Hope you like it.

Hi Shekar,
Very beautiful specimen here, nice natural colors and good contrast with the fine background. you could have cropped bit on left side for off centered composition. tfs.

Hi Chanrasekhar,
Wonderful shot of this Lemon Emigrant in one of its favourite sitting position. Very impressive sharpness and colours with beautiful lighting and perfect DOF. Very nicely composed.
