Hi all,
This is another of my picture from yesterday's trip! This is a Pipit, probably a "Paddy field pipit".

The pipits are a genus of small passerine birds with medium to long tails. The genus has more than three dozen species. Along with the wagtails and longclaws, the pipits make up the family Motacillidae.
They are slender, often drab, ground-feeding insectivores of open country. Pipits are ground nesters, laying up to six speckled eggs.

Hi
Nice picture and the thorns are adding to the picture. In my view, you shopuld have included little more of thorns on the left and reduce little on the right. Lighting is perfectly matching.

Goutham, Good catch. I will post a mirror image of this Pipit tomorrow. Same place, probably the same Pipit shot on different days by me and you.

Hi Goutham. A nice pose you have captured in the Pipit. Good detai land colours. Stands out from the BG. From you picture i can see the long legs it seemss to have. well done TFS.
Nick..

This is a very nice photograph Goutham. The isolation of that very sharp bird and those thorns! is really effective. I like where you placed the subject in the frame. The colors are really lovely and that soft background is wonderful.

Hello Goutham,
It seems that you are again in warmer areas :-)! This is a very fine and well composed bird-picture. I especially like the warm and subtle colors of the background and the beautiful light falling on this elegant bird and the shrub where it is posed. Really pleasant and well done.
Best regards
