600mm VR wow, that must be super heavy!

Good capture of the squirrel with sharpness and bokeh blur in this nice resolution product of D3. Very nice color tone.

I like the composition of this natural diagonal laid out nicely for you by the squirrel climbing up that wood.

Thank you for the good wishes and for this fine photo. The image is very nice showing sharply this nice animal. You have chosen a fine POV showing it so well. There is a fine contrast between the fur colors and the tree trunk it is sitting on. The green leaves bring more life to the image.

I like this new year card. So beautiful which is a close cousin of the plaintain squirrel. The pose is stunning on that dead wood against a pleasing silenced background. The green leaves add perspective to the frame.

Smitha a month has vanished so fast and it took me so long to view this beautiful pic of yours. Nice to note that you have started your new year 2009 with a beautiful note. TFS. Best wishes. This isn't an easy shot. Very difficult to capture a squirrel that's sitting calm n still..I have always found them wriggling on a coconut tree back in my hometown..Restless and playful as they are..But then they must have calmed down to give a nice pose coz Smitha was there...Keep shooting and keep on posting more and more.
