[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is hand held shot from my 50-500 and was shot at 50mm. This was shot near one of the lakes that is on the periphery of Bangalore. The play of light and the early morning mist always gives us lots of photographic opportunities and I have tried to exploit them.

Here I have consciously tried to place the sun closer to the "Golden Mean" in the frame and also the horizon slightly off center!

I Like to dedicate this to Ram Thakur a fellow TNian who was mentioning that I have not posted much of my landscapes shots in TN.

I like your landscape but maybe a wee more brightness and a cleaner FG, especially to the left
The colours are really fine and I like the composition and deep too.

Hello Goutham.
Some gorgeaus hues in this beautiful sunrise.
It may just be my laptop,but I see curved rows of pixels across the sky,lower under the sun,but raised on either side of it.
I've noticed this in a few blue sky shots looking towards the sun.Some people can see it on their computers,others can't.
Gert (ellis49) suggested once that it is is due to diffraction.
Do you see it at all?

This is a great shot too Goutham. I always like pictures of sunsets and this is very nice.
I like the reflection of the sun and the land in the water and the plants in the fg.
The mist in the back and the ring around the sun are a bonus.

Thanks a lot for reminding me :).
Though you actually don't post much of landscapes on TN, this picture, nonetheless, suggests how gifted nature artist you are as a whole.
You have achieved the most appropriate colour tones in this picture that bring the ambience of the moment into true life.
With a tremendous depth of view, that thin mist clinging to the low trough at the rear and the silhoettes of the plants and trees makes this picture a real work of art.
Once again, let me thank you for bestowing this great honour on me.
