Bee?

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hello everyone!
This was captured in the Okhla Bird Sanctuary, Noida, India.
Certain parts are OE and burnt out. Made a few more attempts to capture something interesting with a lower exposure but wes getting hotter and the bee won't give in.
I gave up on the search of the specie of this bee when I read this - "There are more bee species than mammals and birds combined" (Source:American Museum of Natural History)
Please help with ID :)

This winged insect does not have the eyes of a Bee, Kirti. In my reckoning, it is probably a Hoverfly.
Though the size of the insect is rather small in your capture, it still shows the features of the insect very clearly, and that includes colours -- especially of the striped eyes.
May is not the month in which I fancy going to Okhla Bird Park.
You are brave to do it.
TFS and regards.
The pattern at the end(hind) says it is indeed a hoverfly, Kurtz...
Nice one.
