| Climbing to the high altitude areas (HAA) in the plateau of Sikkim's Cold Desert near lake Gurudongmar, I was astounded to see this kind of alien vegetation over 15,000 feet ASL. I was told this is what yaks prefer eating & it helps generating heat within their body in extreme cold climatic condition of HAA. I exactly do not know the name of this moss & request you to help me out in knowing its ID! |
