Certainly good image from the sigma lens although the quality cannot beat the prime lens. It shows the skill of photography for presentation.

Congratulations for this great achievement, especially also because most of your pictures are accompanied by an interesting note, that means a lot of time-investment. We thank you for this personal "engagement" on this site. And I think you are too severe with yourself, but better like that than the opposite way.
The picture you have chosen for this occasion is of the fine manner, which I appreciate especially. Good digonal composition, a ceratin distance to the subject (even if they allow to come close) and very fine colors.

Wow 900 not out, an impressive score; even Tendulka would be impressed with that :) Congratulations.
Cool shot of this bulbul. As usual nature put a twig in an inappropriate position (lol). But apart from that its great and stands out on an excellent OOF background.

900 pictures ? Wow, that's really amazing ! Yu're probably one of the TN memebers who posted the most pictures. You pobably know it already, but I will tell you once more - each and every one of these 900 pictures was a real pleasure to look at. You are such a talented man, and I am happy I can call you a friend.

As for the picture, it is just wonderful, like all the others - I specially like the diagonal composition and the grey blured BG who makes the bird stand out so nicely.

Very well done, and let's go for the next series of 900 - or more...

Hello Ram, beautiful capture of this bird. In my experience of capturing this bird, I've always ended up capturing its face very dark (due to the virtue of its color and the shade where it generally sits). In your case the face is very clearly visible and the sharp focus right on the eye is perfect. Contrasting background adds beauty. Congratulations on your 900th post.

congratulations cordially on your 900th shot. I wish you many hundreds and thousands posts here. It is really amazing that 900 posts in three years.
This is really great capture and selection to celebrate. photographically great capture. details, eyes contact, BG and composition very nice as like frame and focus. It is similar to Yellow-vented Bulbul here. most important difference yours has red venter, ours yellow. black head and other parts very similar. Thanks for sharing this beauty with good notes.
In last week, I am pleasure your came back. Now, I think you are far away and I'd like to see more shot from you.
