| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This scarlet skimmer hovers around my pond, sometimes sits on the water lily bud or some tips of leaves or dried flower stalks that can take its weight. This one has a purple face that is distinctively seen.
Order- Odonata
Family- Libellulidae
Genus- Crocothemis
Species- servilla
They are not in great profusion but a few that hovers makes a grand sight! |

TFS
regards,
Nikos.
Hi Dinu,
Nice shot of the scrlet skimmer. You are lucky to see the male. The male scrlet skimmer is not as widely seen as the feamle.
You have got the nice POV good DOF. The only thing that I feel is you have overcropped this image due to which the sharpness of the picture has taken a hit.
But Overall a very nice composition.
TFS,
Kedar
