Hi Friends,

(Thanks for correcting Ranjan. re - editing the details)
I saw this metalic bottle green coloured insects few days back in my car parking. It was about 2 cm in length and had cream coloured spots on its body. I tried to search its name on the net but couldn't find. Later on it flew away, so it has a good flying ability as well. Help me to name it.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend.

Kedar

wow grt capture of this unknown beetal.U r saying metalic bottle green but it seems deep matalic persian blue. and if it is 8 to 10 cm in lenght , it laks of sharpness. even though thanks for sharing this image .

Hallo Kedar
This is a lovely beetle, with pretty features. I like the shape of its antennas, as it reminds me of the horns of a reindeer. The very green leaves as your backdrop highlight the colour and patterns on the beetle well. It is a pretty little insect. Thanks for sharing. Best regards from a very cold South-Africa.

Hello Kedar,
An excellent shot of this beetle which you caught with an excellent sharpness and in a pleasant natural surrounding. The shape reminds our Cetoniidae beetles in Europe.
I hope you will find out the Id.
Kind regards
Anne

Hello Kedar,
Anne is right: this is a species of Cetonid beetle, one that is new to me. I superb sharp capture taken from a fine POV to show its features with excellent sharpness and colours that should enable a specialist to ID it.
Thanks and best regards,
Ivan

Kedar,
Here is one with the Antena as yours; and I looked it up on the inernet as Trichius. (Beetle)
I went through 176 pages. NOTHING, NOTHING! NOTHING!
Great work. Am sure somebody will find the name. Haraprasan from India may help.
Greetings from Mario in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Hi Kedar,
Very nice image. Beautiful insect, great focus and sharpness, nice color contrast between black and green. Although I feel You should have been a bit closer to the insect, because the main theme became a bit small. Otherwise, as the colleagues already said, a superb image.
Best regards from Hungary, László
