Nice one from your archives Ram, infact one of the best shots of a Common Silverline that I have seen! It has all the qualities of a fine butterfly shot and the fact this is of such an beautiful species makes the image all the more appealing.
This is what I need to view on a dull dark day in the North.

Hi Ram,
That is a wonderful looking butterfly. I love the orange white color combination. The tip of the wings are like a little piece of art. The shallow DOF paid off perfectly and gave you a wonderful soft BG. I also like the large space on the left since it makes the photo more artfull. I do have to say that I was expecting more sharpness on the subject.

A few days ago, I wanted to comment the picture of the seldom butterfly you were showing, and looked in our TN-archives for other shots, when I came back to yours, no picture any more..I was a little bit perplexed, but thought that you might have changed your mind(this happens to me too sometimes)

Common?? Lycaenid this has nothing of common!!!

Impressive color, great detail, exceptional light. This is a species that I had not seen. I really like the Lycaenids, here in Venezuela we have several species and already I've posted some in TN. But ... to be honest, this Lycaena now bring us, is impressive! ... makes my Lycaenids appear grays! ..
