Huge crows instead of sea gulls have lived at all the Indian beaches I have ever been to. They steal human food much as sea gulls do at American beaches. These crows are found in Sri Lanka, Nepal, and all over India, mountains, deserts, anywhere, everywhere there are people. They are so bad at this beach, they will perch outside restaurants to swoop in and steal a meal. They are not endangered. The fishermen make no effort to chase the crows and hawks away from their catch. The birds will fill the air, when the catch is good. I think they have adapted to man too well.

Nice and moody, Gloria. These crows are pests, even here in SA where some feral populations occur. I really would like some more light on the foreground, some filflash would work wonders.

Very moody picture Gloria. I love the colours. The sand is very odd with all that black marbling in it. Crows aren't the best liked of birds bit I think they are great, very intelligent and ballsy birds. Good work and good note, thanks for sharing.

There is a lovely light and texture to this shot. I almost suggested filtering, but no, it must stay this way - like a painting. And the red flag is a nice disturbance.

Very nice shot, I like the beach's colours. The red flag is a bit distracting, and you should rotate 1 degree CCW to get a flat sea.
