Hi Radz

Great colours on this Kingfisher. The Kingfisher we have in New Zealand doesn't have the brown colour on the body or the red bill. This is a nice bird. TFS

Very nice capture Radz. I like it a lot. TFS

Beautiful Kingfisher Radz. Orgy of colours, great pose. Focus is little too soft I think.

A kingfisher is always a great catch, no matter the circumstances - they're so elusive, at least up here they are ;-))
Sharpness looks fairly okay to me, but some details in the feathers are missing, did you use NeatImage on this photo? If you did, then you might consider using somewhat "softer" settings. Also, you might consider cropping some bottom and right to get the little beauty out of dead center of the photo.

Beautiful bird Radz.
Great colours, composition and pose.
It's litte soft but still a very good picture.
Well done.

Beautiful bird.

Intrest capture Radz the kingfisher is caught in a good pose, though the focus point looks to be a little behind as the branch behind is sharp while the bird looks soft and the branch in front too.A little bit of sharpening might help to harden up the edges of the bird.
The reworking in the WS works very well and the slightly closer crop makes for a much more dramatic image.
Idearly it should be posted as a repost from the mange section of your photos

I really like this image, the only nits I have, was covered by Bente and she gave good advise as well.

Very well done and thanks for posting

Although the focus is soft, the composition is nice, and the subject very beautiful. I like the moody light this time. Thanks.

A belated welcome to TN, Radz. This is a fabulous subject you posted. The WS did improve the quality of the post. However you should watch out for over sharpening. In the WS the halo's shows around the outlines of the bird. The textures of the feathers with softer NeatImage settings is much better in the WS though.

It is still an exceptional post of this lovely critter. Very well done.

Radz, another great shot of yours. The blurred BG highlights the beauty of the bird. Nice composition, DOF and POV.

Great to see this one with an expression/open beak! I can imagine his behavior better and get a sense of the somewhat long nose this bird has. Very good that there is also some light reflecting from his eye
