This is a royal Bengal Tiger , taken at Ranathambore National Prak, in winter. This was an oppertunity, it came across the road, and was walking 20ft, from our Gypsy, by the side of the game road. since it was an early morning you can see beautiful lighting. This is one of my favourite picture of a tiger. I used my oldie Tokina 100-300mm lens, hand held. Now the population of tigers in this park have declined drastically, and in my last year trip, for 17 rounds in the park in 10days, i didnot see a single one!!!!
God save tigers! |

Hello Satish,
Wonderful capture of the Tiger in its natural habitat. Fine lighting and comp. The story of the decline of the Tiger is a world tragedy, which makes this picture precious.
TFS, regards, Ivan
I love the almost all orange effect.
Light is amazing.
Beautiful animal too.
A little nit: you missed the tip of the start (Still, this shot remains excellent).
