| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| I took this picture of this beautiful longish grasshopper at Kalkera forest, Bangalore. This kept moving to the side as we moved closer to it. It also wiped its eyes with its front legs ! Murali, Gautam and myself enjoyed shooting this grashopper picture. I must say this one was very co-operative and remained in that position for a while. |

Good work Amar the detail looks great it's certainly a different type to one i see here nice DOF and focus looks fine might consider a little USM sharpening to boost the detail best wishes for the new yr rgds Necip.
Dear Amar,
This picture looks good, especially from a hand held camera. It is a pity that you ran out of film. Your Nikon would produce a better depth of field.
Regards,
Murali Santhanam
Hello Amar.
I think it is a good picture of this grasshopper, lovely colours and beautiful blured BG. I agree with Necip about shapening, I think you could have improved a lot the picture wit some lights adjust and USM, I dared a fast WS to show you what I mean.
Thanks and happy new year.
