[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A pair of turtle doves was feeding on the tarmac as we drove around in the morning at Bhimashankar. This one came very close. The difficult part being the alternating patches of light & shade. Resting the lens on the car window i shot away, sometimes at very low shutter speeds. This is one of the better results. Hope you like it.

Hello Badruddin,
A car comes in useful! This is a pretty good capture of the O. Turtledove with fine blurred BG that allows the dove to dominate despite the similar colours.
We have one now in Sweden but it is too far away for me to try a shot.
TFS and best wishes, Ivan

Hi Badruddin,
This capture has great detail of the doves' head, colors are great especially the background being similar to the dove.

Hi Bahruddin,
We can't always be lucky about the light on the right moment, this is one of the handicaps of wild life photography. You managed the exposure very well- despite of the parts in the shadow. Good composition and focus. Maybe you could have sharpened the photo a bit before uploading.

This is a very nice shot, I love the complimentary tones. Stunning POV and good DOF
