The Small Green Bee-eater,merops orientalis.
A dainty grass green birdtinged with bronze colour on head and neck. Slender, long slightly curved bill and conspicuous black necklace. Seen in pairs or parties, in open country on telegraph wires, fence posts, etc.Sallies after insects, snapping them in its bill and circling back to the perch where it is battered to death and swallowed.
i took this photo using 80- 400 lens with ISO 200.
Since the light was good, the photo has come out well.
I've sharpened the object a little bit. |
