Excellent capture from the rear, Sumon.
I too had the pleasure of shooting this picturesque Rhyothemis variegata in Mumbai last year.
Very docile and cooperative dragonfly :-).

Hello Sumon,
This is really one of my favourite dragonflies, not that I've seen it, but I've admired some earlier pictures on TN. Very nice capture showing clear wing pattern and lovely colours against the dark background. I like the composition too.

This is an impressing specie and you have captuured it very well.
The shinny looks makes it glitter, and the contrast is great towards the beautiful dark BG.

beautiful pose, fine details, pretty reflections of light well enhancing the dragonfly's shape of wings.
The tightly placed white border looks too dominant and distracting for my taste.
Pretty and lively, well composed shot, coming with good notes.

Fearless but effective point of view Sumon with great details of the insect.

I like it a lot: composition, POV, DOF, focus, sharpness, color, lighting, background, framing.

I like it: framed (something tight to the left on the wing of the insect), notes.

I don't like it: nothing to grumble.
