Very nice composition and I like the frame. The seal looks interesting on the buckground. Unfortunately it is not sharp and the contrast between the head and buckgrund could be better :-)

This a beautiful monochromatic image, Ben. I like the way he almost belends into the bg. It's almost like an abstract where the details of the sea lion are only revealed in the patterns of light. I only wish the focus on his whiskers were a bit crisper.

I like the whole composition. Sea lion looks very well with the waves as Bg. I like as well the inusual illumination. But maybe a little bit soft in focus.
