Great iridescent colours and well composed, could possibly do with a little more DoF though.

Definatley a very colourfull one, though the DOF is very shallow, I do not know what lens you had on the 20D but it should of been able to handle a slower speed than 1/125sec so allow you a higher F stop, also I see you used only ISO 100 I believe that you will find ISO 400 and even 800 pretty good and so allow for even better speeds and higher F stop.

I have to agree with the others about needing some more Depth of Field. The color and composition are great.

I love the colors, background, composition and frame, Jeffry. My only nits: the thin DOF as the others said and the lack of meaningful note. Thanks for sharing.

Quite an amazing colorful grasshopper. Must be a female that couldn't make up her mind on what dress to where on that day...
Yes the DOF is too shallow and makes the "tail" blurred but still it makes a very nice shot.

The composition and detail captured are fantastic.
I don't generally like 'borders' but it really works here - well done.

I agree with the others that it needs a bitmore depth, at least to get the rear end sharp.
