[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is -I believe- a cycad blue butterfly [Chilades pandava], small, length of wing is only less then 2 cm. Color of upper surface of the wing is blue but lower surfece is light brown with its specific pattern. Its back wing has a small 'tail', unique to this species.

I chose this angle to show different colors of its upper and lower surface of the wings.

[I did not post picture at this site for sometime, hopefully this butterfly will deliver my message to all TN friends that I am still here ..............]

Hi Benyamin,

It's so nice to see you posting again. Great shot of this unusual looking butterfly. Good colors, details, and background. The pose is wonderful showing both sides of the wings.

Hi Benyamin,
This is a fine shot! Mainly because it shows both colour patterns of its wings on its upper and lower sides. I've wondered when I see it as blue in flight - very restless flyer this - and when I see after it sits, brown is seen for our pictures!

Hi Ben.
You were really absent here a lot. I am glad to watch your new picture. Subject is simply and charming. Nice POV and excellent exposure parameters/ Entire image od the butterfly is in focus and reflected very well. I like delicate absolutely smooth BG and framing of the shot. Well done and TFS.

Dear Benyamin,
a very skilfully made portrait of a little tailed blue. The frontal point of view provides a most lively tension, the perfectly chosen extended depth of field covers all the essential parts from a difficult angle. Lighting is superb, the uniform sand coloured background delivers a perfect contrast to the brilliant blue, and the elements are reduced to a powerful minimum.
Really a good shot, and much underrated here so far in my humble opinion. Glad to have discovered it with some delay, having been a rare guest at TN over the last few weeks myself.
