Citarik River is located in montainous region in the heart of West Java. A very popular river for rafting -we enjoyed a three-hour rafting experience along this challenging river. At starting point, there are nice traditional cottages with all of accomodations built using a natural material where we spent the night before rafting.

Only 3 to 4 hours drive from Jakarta, capital of Indonesia. During holidays, it may take a longer time due to traffic.

It has been a while I do not post a landscape picture. I hope you like this one.

Hola Benyamin
Bonita foto de bonito lugar, quizás un poco de luz iluminando las piedras hubiera ganado más la foto.
El agua muy bien trabajado.
Un saludo

Hello Benyamin,
A nice mood is created by the long exposure, a dream-like atmosphere!
Well composed image with good foreground interest in the big rocks...
Good point of view and well composed image!

Hi Ben.
You have shared a very impressive picture. Applied technique is great as well as the result of use new for me lens at wide angle. Amazing view and reproduction of water stream. Great DOF, impressive colour palette, and wonderful creative cropping. Bravo and my best wishes.
Alexei.

Hi Benyamin,
A very good capture!
I like somuch the effect got with the 5 secs exposure, the water have a soft appearence.
The dark aspect of it gives it certain mood of mystery like a fairly tale image.
Congratulations and thanks for share it.
Hope all your things would be ok there.
My best regards,
JM

Hola Ben,
preciosos efectos,
pov y dof,
agradables tonos y bella compo,
saludos amigo.

Excellent image with great athmosphere.
Best wishes,
Achim

Hi BL,
I personally do not go for the arrested movement of water with long exposure, though the end product looks very artistic and charming. I like to see the fiercely tumbling waters of a hill stream as it is actually seen by human eye.
Nevertheless, you have created quite an artistic image of this hill river in Indonesia.
I guess it is looking upstream.
Regards.

Hello Ben,
Quite an atmosphere with slight underexposure and the smooth water. Composition is very nice from the low pov, esp. the hint of green on top. You must have been quite close to the rocks to get them this large with 18 mm. Was this cropped? Regards,
Hakan

Hello Ben,
very well composed shot. The exposure gave this water a wonderful texture and milky color which contrasts so nicely with the rocks.
Excellent POV and the scenery is gorgeous.

Hi Benyamin,
This is nice, the effect on the water looks great. A lovely peaceful atmosphere you have captured here. I like nature landscape images.
Cheers
Debbie

Oh yes Ben, I like this one :)! This is so beautiful and this exposure makes the water looks like clouds. I like those tones of colors, POV and composition a lot. This is very well done. It makes me always smile when you talk about traffic as your country is so far from here and it is like it was very close :))) If you happen to come here, I should warn you too about those tricks to escape from traffic ;)

Hello Benyamin,

a very moody shot, nicely dominated by the trio of rocks that seem to be floating in the foreground. i like the overall greenish tone of this shot, and although the foreground is quite crowded, there is actually a fine, long view up this river. I think you should do more landscapes :o)

tfs,

Paul

Hi Ben, very nice moody wash effect set up on this river with your 5 second exposure. Nice composition with those rocks up front but good visibility of the river coming in from the top. Colours are soft and help establish the mood. Very nice.

Thanks, John

Hi Ben. I like these water and rock compositions. Good treatment on the water here. Looks surreal. Murray.

Very intriguing shot, Ben! I picked this out of a phletoria of excellent macro's, but somehow the thumbnail drew me in. Love the low pov and ghostly appearance of the water surface, singling out the rocks as if they were carefully placed for ultimate balance and composition.
Cheers
Otto.

Hi Benyamin,
long time exposure has provided a perfect capture of slow flowing motion. With your well chosen low point of view you have achieved a powerful arrangement of dominant foreground and distant depth. Must be a very relaxing place. Nice to see here. Thank you!
With best regards,
Peter

Wow! A grt shot! The low pov, long exposure time, all form an attractive image. Gives the feeling of a beautiful and fast river flowing through the midst of a jungle in a rainy day. :) thanks for sharing.
