[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Jumping Spiders - Family Salticidae

Jumping spiders are small to medium in size, stout-bodied and short-legged, with
a distinctive eye pattern. The body is rather hairy (pubescent) and frequently
brightly colored or iridescent. Some species are antlike in appearance. The
jumping spiders forage for their prey in the daytime. They approach a prey slowly
and, when a short distance away, make a sudden leap onto the unfortunate animal.
They are good jumpers, and can leap many times thier own body length.
This Jumping Spider, like all crab spiders, does not weave a web. It must ambush its' prey.

Very nice Hasan, I have seen these (or ones like it) in a book recently - I love them. Their eyes are fantastic. Very nice work to capture one feeding. Good job.

Very good catch! I like how detailed are this insects, nice capture of a nature moment.

What a moment Hasan. You did great to capture this critter. Those eye are very well captured. Great shot, with lots af action. Well done.

Nice catch! Dramatic lighting.
Maybe a bit too contrasty but
overall it's nice and sharp.
The DOF is also good for f/5.6!
