Quite the acrobate isnt he? Tongue out too...
If the "humanity" of one animal can candidly break your heart from tears to laughter I would have to say the most genuine human being is an Orang-Outang (a Malay name meaning "Forest People").
I really hope this animal will not perish and never be seen again in the wild in the future generation.
Conservation efforts are not extensive enough with all the WWF, Indonesian government and media publicity.
I wish I was more positive about the future of the most loveable wild animal I ever seen, but when I left I cried feeling like is the last time I will see this true brother of mine, a much better brother than I am...
The quality of the image itself could be better in a perfect world, and I am no stranger nor hypocriticaly modest about that, but jungle is no perfect place, specially from very far and no tripod in circumspect light conditions.
Just enjoy and hope with me these amazing creatures will live on...

Hi Radu, what an exilerating time he is having, so free, so happy and trusting! And I think being too 'trusting' is what has caused most damage to the species.
I don't see the quality or lack of it in this photo. I think it is quite awesome to see him here ike this!
Many thanks,
Janice

Ciao Radu, un'altro scatto eccellente. Quello che mi piace di più e la perfetta esposizione e la posa di questo orango:

Radu, it's a nice shot. Good colors, and perfect presentation. This orang-outang look very happy in is forest. And i don't understand why people (the intellignet one) are enjoy to kill, capture, etc this beautyfull beast and the others.

Hi Radu,
here we have the promissed monkey.
It's a beautiful one in such a nice pose.
I love the red colour against the green trees.
When I were there 1992 we had to walk a longer time alongside a river, than we went over it with small boats, only 2 persons a boat.
Thank again a walk about half an hour in the tropical forrest. And sooooo hot!!!
But I loved to see the monkeys. Thanks for sharing

Hi Radu,
The quality of the picture s maybe not "perfect", but it's really good (I go in the same way as Janice). When we look at his face, we feel a certain sense of innocense. TFS.

Hi Radu,
This is a superb shot. Greatly capturing this cute orang utan. Green tree canopy is a great BG for this redish brown creature, giving contrasting colors. Is it really in Sumatera Selatan? or Kalimantan?

Hi Radu
I like very much this shot. You have caught the ape in a perfect and funny pose. The vivid colours are gorgeous. Congratulations
Maite

Really fun shot of this beautiful primate. As far as I'm concerned, as soon as the forest dwellers are gone the rest of the planet has died right along with it. This would be a very boring planet without the diversity of it's unique wildlife. :)
