You hustle your a** up a tree and you end up capturing this great image, Radu. Well worth the effort, my friend. Must compliment you for the hard work you have done in Indonesia.
This is a great image of this "Vampire" you have posted the right way for our viewing. The details, particularly of the face, are perfect.

Tell me this thing doesn’t exist, please! But, this is a monster, it is not real :) Wow! What a beast! You say that it half a meter length? It is just an unbelievable nightmare! I am not afraid of the usual species that usually people are but I would not like to encounter this fellow, no, no, no! What shocked me was not the frontal exposure, but the upside down (or downside up) position of the bat. : P

Great shot and yes it did give me a shock and then it made me smile so two points to you, now I have a vision of opening my curtains and seeing this vision before me but as I live in the UK don't think that will happen, be careful up those trees.
