Hi Ben

A very nice shot of this skimmer!
I really like the delicate composition here - with only a twig and the dragonfly and nothing else in the frame to take away the attention.
The BG is simply lovely - very well blurred and nicely colored.
The details on the dkimmer are great and sharp and the DOF is very nice - although just a bit bigger wouldn't have hurt.
Very well exposed and composed anyway.

It's been a while since I saw your postings!
This is an excellent capture of a species of Skimmer. Fine sharpness and set in anexcellent composition with great bokeh BG.
I don't think this is O. caledonicum though, as O caledonicum is found in Australia and as west as Bali.
I hope someone can give you the correct ID,

Great close-up. Despite the wind you managed to crate a crisp image of the beautiful insect and attractive scene at whole. Amazing pleasant light colour palette and brilliant composition and POV. Well done and TFS.

Hi Ben,
I like the empty composition and the wonderful details in the skimmer. The color of the BG is ofcourse amazing and helps to emphazise the colors of the insect. Maybe a bit hot on the lighting, but surely not too distracting.
