Hi Ben
It's great to see you posting again. You've captured a very colourful butterfly and flower. The dark background is a nice contrast to the butterfly. Nice detail and well composed.

Hallo Benyamin
Yes I agree that it is good to see you back again. I have been missing your beautiful bird images, but you now made up for that by this presentation of a butterfly also unknown tot me. What a delightful and sunny view. The details of both the flower and the butterfly are just stunning, and the colours of the butterfly is truly a feast to the eye. The combination of colours is just lovely and creates a most appealing and bright and definitely joyful sight. I like the way you fit the subjects in the frame, makes the details more closely to observe and appreciate. The light coming from below, brightens up the image as a whole. It was indeed a pleasure looking at this one.
Kind regards
Anna

Hi Ben,
Your photo is quite special! There is such an interesting light falling on the butterfly that I have the feeling light comes out of the wings. The compositon of the image is very good with nearly no sharp elements except the butterfly. I must say this is more than a documentary photo about the butterfly but a piece of art.
Congratulations,
Cristian
Hello Benyamin,
This is a male specimen of a Danaid butterfly Ideopsis vitrea. Two sub-species are named in D'Abrera's "Butterflies of the Oriental Region": ssp oenopia from Northern, Eastern and Central Sulawesi, and ssp arachosia from Southern Sulawesi. You have good colours and composition and a very good depth of field. Well done. I have added this to my Butterflies of Sulawesi theme.
