Hi Brigitte,

A beautiful macro capture of the golden-yellow colored dragonfly!
The sharpness is crisp and the POV is simply amazing. The shallow DOF is certainly a great advantage here. I like the position of the dragonfly. The eyes and the wings are nicely seen in the shot.
Very well seen!

Nice capture of this beautiful dragonfly, Brigitte! I can not help you with identification but I am very sure others on TN would do that soon. I wish Mr Ram Thakur was active on TN these days - he is an expert on them. You can try seeing his gallery, you might find the name there.

I do not know the GO, I am bad to classify dragonflies! but I can say you that have made good use the angle of the light in a fantastic way, giving to the insect a masterly clarity. I congratulate you for the achieved transparency in the wings and the great one POV!
