| Finally lengthy rain had stopped. I was wondering a small village surrounded by mountains. I found Parnassius citrinarius. This butterfly appears once in April to May, the flight is very slow and easy to catch even by hands. In Japan, this butterfly usually can be seen in "SAN-SON (mountain village)." I am always waiting for its appearance because it means the beginning of "butterfly season"! |
