| We found this lovely bulb in Mt Hotaka. The typical pending fruits and upright foliage were sure Convallaria. Later it was rather easy to find this species in one of the colourful Japanese plant guides. |

Hallo Ori,
The red beries are looking very nice on the green leaves. The quality of the image is very good showing sharply the fruits and the leaves. i like the mixture of green and dead leaves.

Hi Ori,
Excellent sharpness and detail in the old leaves and berries. Looks essentially identical to Convallaria majalis v. majalis that is now found in oak woods here as well as in their native Europe and Asia. According to what I'm seeing, yours is a sub species, C. majalis v. keiskei, no?
