[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
on the mountain snow line in late spring, i almost tripped over him. he just sat in his bed and gazed down at me.

taken from 2-3m, the original RAW shows the 6 tenpin bowls pattern pores on the end of his nose. he has spring antlers, which look more like plastic or rubber than the real thing. he would be about 1.8m tall at head height.

Hi Perry. Firstly welcome to TN. You have posted a fine close up of this Deer. You were able to take it with fine detail and natural colours. We can see all of the markings onits body. well done TFS.

Hello Perry,
Welcome to TN - excellent first post. This one of the few shots I've seen with full velvet on the antlers. Composition and details are first rate. The faun spots always look out of focus and I suspect that helps camouflage the youngsters.
