Oriental Lily

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I've seen many kinds of lilies in Japan. I tried doing internet research about lilies, but I found that there are many different varieties world wide; it seems that they're bred like roses to create new colours and shapes. (Later:) I found a book on Japanese lilies in a bookshop. This one is Lilium speciosum and is native to Japan and Taiwan.
This one was growing on a wall in a parking lot at the Ujiie Museum.

It is a nice flower similar of our Lilium martagon in French Alps mountains...
Well done !
What a beauty David.
Great colours, perfect composition and cropping and the well blurred background really shows the lily in its best way. Congratulations.
Very good David.
Beautiful colours , good composition and good sharpness,
Well done.
Hi david unfortunatley I am not expert enough to say if this ether a wild or cultivated Lillium (lilly), I do'nt know if you have looked at the TOS about such images.
the image it's self seems a little short on DOF which is a shame as it is a nice flower wtith a lot of colour and texture to offer.
