Hello ori,

What a special color have your fungi! The orange is so vivid and makes a good contrast with the background. The well chosen DOF shows well and sharp the whole fungi.

Beautiful, indeed. Nice composition and excellent color and sharpness.

I believe they're in the Aleuria genus. At first glance, I thought they were A. aurantia, but I see a suggestion of a stalk in the specimen on the far left, and A. aurantia is stalkless, so perhaps A. rhenana? I'm not sure, as I'm not familiar with the fungi species from Japan, but I see that A. rhenana occurs there.

Currently, I've been seeing A. aurantia fruiting here, but haven't found any that are very photogenic.

Wow! These are beautiful, the upturned red cups look so attractive. I've been hoping to find something like this down in South America, one day hopefully, I'll just have to admire your until then. Thanks for sharing.
