There is uncommonly the white one though it clusters in the roadside etc. , and a red flower is put forth in the middle of September, too. As for the method of growth, it puts from the end of summer in the peculiarity at the beginning of autumn, the scape of 30-50cm in height projects to the ground with there no leaf, and the flower of about 5-7 piece attaches to the point. The scientific name is called Lycoris radiata, and a British name is called in Red spider lily and a Japanese name is called in Higanbana.

Hi Mikio,
a very special and unique shot of the lilies. Very graphical and very artistic touch. i like its soft reds going aginst the green grass.
