[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photograph is a female photograph of the tufted duck that took it on the pond in the Rikugien garden on the day of rain. The female is few though a lot of male tufted ducks are seen.
In the tufted duck, eyes are yellow as shown in the name, and the wing that the tufted duck has in back of the head is features. The nib is ash blue, and as for the surgical knife, the color of the side abdomen is a little light in brown in whole.
It is a small class in the quick push seen by about 40cm in the total length in Japan. Because the scaup duck doesn't have Cammuriwa, it is possible to distinguish though it looks like the scaup duck.

Great capture of the female in the rain. The rain certainly adds an interesting effect. Good focus on the eye and fine colours. Well composed too.

Maybe a lower POV had been nicer.

Hello Miko,

Good picture here, the eye is very sharp. Although the body is not well focus (the bird move its body and with very slow shutter speed -1/10sec), the rain drops at the body give an artistic semi-circular pattern.
