This Japanese black Cormorant to take off from the Hozu Gawa River near Kyoto, Honshu island ,Japan
I think the name of this specie is Phalacrocorax Carbo Hanédaé particular specie living in Japan around coast of the sea, river and Lake.
Its size is 100 cm and spread is 150 cm and weight 2,5 Kg It is can live to 20 year old
Order: Pélécaniformes and family Phalacrocoracidès
Cormorant specie is present in all continent, Europ,Asia,Africa,Océania and north América.
This cormorant can dive 20 to 30 secondes for fishing to 10 an 15 meters under the surface.

Bonjour Daniel,
Très belle et intéressante cette image que nous présentons. Excellente surprise de cette scène. Je sais combien il est difficile de l'attraper. J'ai essayé et moi avec les mouettes.
