[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The person of the breeding lying packs the fish in the bucket and it appears when becoming the time of the meal. Pelicans gather all together, and wait for manners good food. Opening of the pelican the large mouth in every case and waiting are comical though the person of lying scatters food in the rose to spread right and left and equally. Pelican's food seems to be a small pompano. I took this photograph in Ueno Zoo in the evening.

Hello Mikio,

Very good action shot,
16 birds , but only 2 fishes. I like the pelicans mouths, like funnels.
That small black birds sure have no chance.

Very funny picture Mikio, those pelicans looking like singing chorus girls and the cormorants waiting for their cue to break in! Very good indeed.

What a fantastic and amusing capture! Very well-timed too showing all these hungry birds gaping together. Fascinating to see the open bills of the Pelicans that look like big funnels! A very fine composition showing sharp details and fine colours.
