Hi Percy,
What a little jewel of a bird you have captured.
The colors are magnificent. WOW!
Great profile shot with very sharp and bright details.
The dark BG isolates the subject well.
I love those little claws and how they wrap around the twig.
Beautiful. TFS. : )

What a beautiful kingfisher! Lovliest colours I have ever seen on a kingfisher, Percy.
Very good point of view, DOF and sharpness.
Well done and TFS.

Hallo Percy, an excellent picture of this beautiful bird. I'm not sure on the identity, but I think it is Ceyx erithacus (Oriental dwarf kingfisher).

Hi Percy,

Wow..that doesn't even look real! Those colors...some birds it seems got more than their share! It is gorgeous. He likes like he is all head and no tail. Is there more tail that we are just not seeing here? Thanks for sharinig such an amazing bird with us. Nicely exposed and composed.
