Hi friends in TN,

Thank you Bill, Alfred and Jong! The trip to Kuching was memorable because of the hospitality of these Trek members.

This shot was taken from the wilderness of Borneo and ID of this specie is very well appreciated. The butterfly perched on the sandy bank of the river with the four of us shooting at random with different kind of lenses.

Thanks to Bill, Alfred and Jong for their willingness to share with me the hidden treasure of Borneo. Looking forward to your trip to Kedah
:-)

Regards.

Salam jusni,
excellent shot of this brilliant MIB.
The clarity is so wonderful that the sands look like gems to me. The contrast work very well here, giving this shot a mighty look in its clarity.

regards,
Foozi

Hello Jusni,
fascinating document out of Sarawak's wilderness, showing a glimpse of the very rich, vital and diversified tropical nature. Well composed, very clear and sharp image. Hard contrasts created by the very strong tropical sunlight may be treated in postwork in order bring out more details in the dark parts of wings - please see workshop.
Must have been an exciting trip. Looking forward to seeing more from there!
With thanks, and best regards,
Peter

P.S.: Sorry, cannot tell you the ID. Seems to be a member of the "Nymphalidae" butterfly family mimicking a member of poisonous Danaidae.

Hi Jusni,
A nice capture of this elegant butterfly. Sorry about the ID. Very good details and a nice composition. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hi MF Jusni, welcome back! i am sure you had good times with your friends during the trip. You captured this beauty perfectly with great details and sharpness on the ground from dorsal POV.

hi Jusni

A great macro of the butterfly found at the riverbank and captured in good light to show strong sharpness and detail of the fully spread wings.

Despite only 1 short day of outing trip to the countryside, I am glad you crossed the South China Sea to Borneo and discovered the Land of the Hornbill.

tfs, bill

Hi Jusni.
You have found and pictured a splendid specimen of butterfly. Its shapes, colouration, all other details are amazing as ell as superb sharpness of the image. I welcome applied aperture value and wide DOF, excellent reproduction of the substrate. Diagonal composition of the image is looked perfectly. Fill flash is great too. Excellent work. My best regards.
Alexei.

Hallo Jusni
I wish I had more time............
However I cannot pass this by without saying. Wonderful capture, lovely dedication and I love the sea sand as backdrop to this great portrayal of beautiful colours, patterns and splendour. Thanks for sharing.
Best regards
Anna

Hi Jusni again,
You had been great time with Your friends, we have great pleasure to see Your photos. :) Although I'm not an insect specialist, I like b-fly shots very much. Your pic, I mean the composition, not the "model", strongly reminds me to this photo of mine - only the insect, the pebbles and nothing else. I like this kind of minimalistic photos very much.
Very nice shot - although Peter's right that the colors are a little bit oversaturated. Thank You for sharing this beautiful image and to him for the brilliant WS.
Best regards from Hungary, László

Jusni,

Warm & friendly regards,
Mario.
