About 30km from Kota Belud, is one of the numerous Sabah Park's substations called Sayap. The road to this hilly region is very dusty and rough and usually, it takes about 90 minutes.

And if you could just take your mind off the very bumpy and dusty ride, you just might get to enjoy the hilly countryside with its hill padi fields, banana plam groves and rustic sulap.

About 20 minutes from the Sabah Park substation, is a small waterfall called Kemantis Waterfall. You might like to camp here. The Park has installed camp ground with toilet and cooking facility. Just bring your tent, food and camp gear. And your camera too.
