I love the silvery color of this bug, it makes the most beautiful contrast with the purple flower (which is also a real beauty, by the way). You captured excellent details and beautiful textures, specially on the petals of the flower who look so 'real' I could almost touch them. The pose of the insect, with head down, is fantastic. Composition and POV are excellent. Very well done !

A double bonus in this nature capture. You have perfected the shallow selective focusing in this this shot complemented by very good rendering of colors with your D80 sensor. I think D80 is the best camera since the digital age and that's the reason I'm keeping it for life :-)
