[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Took few shots of this beauty but I think this is the best that I can share because I can see it's full color with a fish in it's beak.
This shot was taken at TNer Suleesia's "playground" where you can see many types of birds and pretty friendly too(probably they're used to humans around).
There's a small puddle of water right beneath this stump where there are frogs,fishes and even insects.

The colors are nothing short of stunning, Joe.
The sharp details, the excellent DOF, not to mention the fish in the beak, make this an outstanding shot.
My only nit would be the central pose of the bird. Maybe a little less space on the right, and more on the left, where he is looking into.
So is this place like an aviary?

Hello MJ,
a splendid capture of this kingfisher. The fish adds lot's of value to the image. I have three points meant as building critique (hope you allow me to give them): The space on the right side of the bird is not used. Try an off-centered composition. I think the colours are too satured. Maybe a slight decrease would improve. I think your mark distract too much from the (nice) picture. Try making it smaller, or maybe leave the red out.
