Lineated Barbet (Megalaima lineata) size 27-28cm

habitat;deciduous forest,scattered trees in open areas,plantataions..range up to 1220m (below 800m at Thailand and lowlands at Penisular Malaysia.

this was taken at a Durians plantation new my house..his very hard to get close even a single movement of your hand,he will simply just disappear.even his nest is there...for not disturb their feeding interval so i only got few minute to get a prefact shot.

the background arent too prefect but i m happy with this shot.

Hello Ken,
Very beautiful sharp-detailed photo of this lovely Barbet. I understand why you are not happy with the BG. Make a crop on the left side of the photo and it's a lot better. See my workshop, only...I lose your name. It's also good for the composition. But a great photo!
